About Cara Mila
Cara Mila was founded in 2015 with the aim to offer a fresh perspective on the traditional bourgeois fur brand: one that is forward thinking and innovative, one that embraces new technologies and treatments whilst remaining true to the traditional artistry of Italian master furriers.
We select only the highest quality, Origin Assured™ pelts. The pelts are coloured using natural dyes, hand crafted and finished with silks from Como.
The result is a collection of responsibly sourced fine furs and accessories with a contemporary twist. Discreet or provocative, designed to perfectly embrace every demand of the independent woman’s wardrobe. A new paradigm for luxury fur: Affordable. Modern. Relevant.
As a small family team, we are involved each and every step of the way and we take great pride in what we do.
We adhere to a strict standard of integrity in our daily operations and throughout the product development cycle, beginning with responsible sourcing, working only with Saga® Furs and Kopenhagen Furs.
We believe that there is a fur for every woman. Through our approachable customer service and private appointments in our London atelier (bookable online) we aim to personally assist you to find the perfect fur for you.
We stand by the enduring quality of our products and once that special piece is in your wardrobe, we will help you to look after it too.
We are committed to the strict sourcing of Origin Assured™ Fur. Ethicality is the leading principle behind everything that we do. We only associate ourselves with those who share our values, working with both Saga® Furs and Kopenhagen Furs we are assured that Cara Mila pelts will come only from regulated farms that adhere to the principles contained in the United Nations Global Compact Initiative and the latest Global Reporting Initiative Framework [GR14]
This guarantees not only the finest quality of fur as a result of careful breeding and handling, but also the most ethical.
